Ally has visions of Larry, Cage has a glimpse into his future and Renee sees a new side of Jackson.

Ally's on a flight to Detroit, sitting next to a nun. The nun picks up on Ally's enthusiasm and guesses she's off to visit her "fella." The nun says he'll probably be frisky. Huh? Then she launches into a safe sex speech involving condoms, diaphragms and Viagra. Yikes! Ally excuses herself to the lavatory, but opens the wrong door and ahhhhhhh! She plummets out of the plane. Yep, it was all a dream. Disturbed, Ally retreats to the safety of Renee's bed and snuggles up next to…Jackson?!

In the staff meeting, Ally envisions Richard as Larry and goes to give him a big hug. Richard's response? "I love the eager beaver. Vulgarism." Nice. Ally goes out for some fresh air, but steps into an empty elevator shaft, falling to her death. Or not. You guessed it…time for a new therapist (special guest Rhea Perlman). This one boils Ally's woes down to this: She's in a dead-end relationship and should get out now. Um, total buzzkill.

John's new case, another annulment, has brought up major issues between him and Melanie. John's client, Eric, is asking for an annulment because his wife has decided she doesn't want children, contrary to what she said before they got married. When John relays the facts to Melanie, she admits that she doesn't want kids either. Balls! John is shocked by this new information and wonders if he can be with a woman who neither wants marriage nor children.

Back at home, Ally and Renee obsess over the men in their lives. Renee worries that since she slept with Jackson on their first date, she'll never hear from him again. Ally tells Renee what the therapist said. They are about to sulk when the doorbell rings! Ally flings it open to see Larry standing there…so she throws her arms around him and plants a big kiss on him. But, oops, it's Jackson! He tells her she has "issues." Then he tells Renee that he's embarrassed about sleeping with her on the first date. They wonder if they have any chance together after hopping in the sack so fast. Ally tells Jackson to get over it and ask Renee on a proper date. He is now positive that Ally's a freak.

During John's closing arguments, Mel keeps interrupting with her utterances. Afterwards, they argue over the whole marriage/kids thing. When John says their future looks bleak, she storms out. Meanwhile, in the Unisex, Jackson tells Ling about his date with Renee. Ling feigns enthusiasm…but she's not a very good faker. Elsewhere, Ally runs into Richard and spills her guts about her dream. Richard says she needs someone to lean on and he has neither the strength nor the interest, so he recommends his therapist. Ally reluctantly goes, only to have this therapist tell her the same thing: She wants to marry Larry, but knows it'll never happen. Yikes!

That night at the bar, Renee and Jackson sing a steamy duet, but it's Ling who gets hot under the collar. Richard takes note. And Mark takes note of Elaine's sweatiness when she watches Jackson. John pulls Ally outside to discuss Mel. She tells him that lots of women think they don't want kids, until they meet the right man. He tells her that Larry is a lucky guy. Aw! Back at home, Ally checks on the snowman in the freezer. She's aching for Larry. She goes into Renee's room, and finds Renee and Jackson spooning. Of course, they wake up and catch her standing there!

John loses his case and asks Mel back to the Unisex for a talk. She's so upset she could "barely tick" the night before. He tells her that he must not be "the One." She confesses that she was happily married once, but walked away. Normalcy terrifies her. You have to believe in forever to want kids, and she just doesn't. After a heartbreaking moment, John says she may as well walk away now, then. So, she does.

Ally returns home to find Larry waiting. And this time, it's real! He's back and he wants to move in. She's so emotional, but finds the strength to let him know he can't ever leave again - she couldn't handle it. He says that's fine with him. Kisses all around!
