While Ally wonders why she and Larry haven’t had sex yet, Elaine gets sued for sexual harassment. Plus, Nelle and Richard get auctioned off for charity – and both get more than they hoped for.

When Larry sings at the bar, the words – about a man frustrated with his girlfriend’s mother – speak to John Cage. That’s probably because Kimmy’s mother, Lynnie, has been with them on every date! Cage is all for idiosyncrasies, but he’s had enough.

At Ally’s slumber party, she wonders why things with Larry are moving so slow. First, there was the kiss thing, which took forever. Now, it’s been a month, and they haven’t slept together yet. Nelle doesn’t think sex is that important (no surprise there). Ling, always the tactful one, thinks Larry’s just not sexually attracted to Ally.

In the staff meeting, Fish announces that he’s in an upcoming charity auction. He recruits Nelle to join him on the runway. Later, in the Unisex, Ling says she’d bring in a fortune and that Nelle will probably do okay. The gauntlet is thrown down and Nelle dares Ling to enter the auction – betting her that she’ll bring in more money. Back in the meeting, Elaine announces that she’s being sued by Daniel Robin. He’s an ex-clerk from the office who claims that Elaine sexually harassed him with her many inventions, such as the face-bra, glow condoms and edible underwear. Fish decides to hire Larry to co-defend Elaine with Mark.

Meanwhile, Cage confronts Kimmy and Lynnie. He doesn’t want or need an emotional chaperone. Either he and Kimmy go out as a twosome, or not at all. You go, Cage! Lynnie gets John alone and admits that Kimmy has severe social issues. It’s clear that Lynnie knows how odd the situation is, but can’t help wanting to protect her daughter. Cage insists that he and Kimmy discuss the issue alone.

At the charity auction, Nelle fetches a hefty $6,000 from a handsome stranger. When Fish takes the runway he starts a bidding war – among three men! Ally tries to outbid, but the stakes get too high and Fish winds up with a guy named Paul for 6,500 bucks. Then, Ling struts out and wows the crowd. Not because of her exotic beauty, but because she’s practically topless! Oh, her long locks are strategically placed, but the “outfit” works – Ling raises $32,000. Take that, Nelle!

Elaine demonstrates the vi-bra – her latest, allegedly offensive invention. The vi-bra not only vibrates, but it rotates and maneuvers a woman’s breasts in a variety of ways, pleasure being the ultimate goal. Added features include nipple projection and breast augmentation. There’s a glitch with cell phones, though, which makes the vi-bra go out of control. Nelle is also out of control, for once. She is positively smitten with her bidder, Barrett! Yes, the Ice Queen has melted. In fact, when recounting her date to Ling, Nelle actually blushes and giggles. Notify the press!

Elaine senses some bad vibes from Mark and he admits that her promiscuity is not appealing. Larry overhears and learns they have been dating. Later, Larry uses this information to get Daniel to admit that his lawsuit isn’t about sexual harassment, but it’s about jealousy. He’s upset that he’s the only guy Elaine doesn’t want to sleep with.

That night at the bar, everyone is coupled up – including Fish and Paul! Nelle’s getting a weird feeling about Barrett. What is he hiding? He confesses that he’s a doctor (hurray!), recently convicted of euthanizing a terminal patient (boo!). Oh, and by the way, tomorrow he starts serving a life sentence. Drinks, please! Meanwhile, John is happy to have Kimmy to himself, until he spots Lynnie in disguise at the bar. He tells Kimmy that honesty is more important than chastity, and breaks up with her.

The next day, Larry explains to Ally why he’s taking things so slow. He’s a little scared by his own feelings and doesn’t want to rush anything. Ally agrees that getting there is half the fun. Fish gets a surprise visit from Cindy (Mark’s ex). She apologizes for masterminding the bidding war and sending him on a date with a man. On her way out, she runs into Mark. They exchange pleasantries as Elaine watches from a distance. When Cindy leaves, Mark asks Elaine to dinner, but it’s clear to Elaine that he still has feelings for Cindy.
