"There’s no value in a secret if you can’t repeat it.” Fishism

Ally and her all-girl crew take control of their personal lives. Fish and Ling defend a client who has bigger issues to deal with than a legal battle.

It’s Halloween and there seems to be nothing more terrifying than being single. During their now weekly sleepover at Ally’s, the women lament their inability to meet attractive, desirable single men. Ling thinks it’s because they’re all desperate, lonely women…except for her, of course. Elaine theorizes that trolling at work is the problem. Men don’t want equals, she argues. That’s why bars are perfect, because men feel dominant.

Inspired, Ally creates the Cage and Fish Women’s Bar Association – which takes on a double meaning when they decide to organize a “models night” at the bar. (Get it?) The idea is to lure eligible men to the bar with the promise of mingling with supermodels. Naturally, no supermodels will be there (despite the certain glut of them roaming the streets of Boston), thus giving Ally, Renee, Nelle, Elaine and Georgia the pick of the litter.

At the office, a confused and hurt Brian again asks Ally why she dumped him. Isn’t she afraid of being alone? Ally responds that she’s more afraid of ending up with the wrong person. Ouch! Later, at models night, things are going swimmingly. The joint is positively jumping with men. But the party quickly turns awkward when a crushed Brian arrives and humiliates Ally in front of the entire crowd. Payback’s a bitch.

In the meantime, Fish and Ling meet with Cindy McCauliff – an attractive woman suing her company for invasion of privacy in regard to a mandatory physical exam. Cindy is very uncomfortable discussing her claim with Richard in the room. Richard and Ling assure her that their discussions are confidential, so Cindy reluctantly explains that she is really a man. A man with real breasts, beautiful long hair, and “her very own dumbstick.” Richard is shocked, but even more so when Mark confides that he’s really attracted to Cindy. However much he wants to warn Mark about what lurks between Cindy’s sexy long legs, he is bound by confidentiality and can only watch in horror as Mark makes his move.

In court, John and Nelle face off against Renee and Georgia. Renee’s client, a young male assistant, is suing his attractive female boss for sexual harassment. Apparently, after they had wild sex on a desk, he felt pressure to continue the affair, which made it difficult to work for her. (Gee, you think?) The defendant, Myra (Special guest Marcia Cross – remember psycho Kimberly from Melrose Place?), testifies that she assumed he was attracted to her because he’s male. If only all women had her confidence! While her testimony doesn’t help her case much, it does get Cage hot and bothered. Only after they have sex, and he gets Myra off (on the harassment charges -- get your minds out of the gutter), does John realize what a true sexual predator Myra is. Now that she’s not guilty, she’s not interested.

After unsuccessfully trying to convince Brian that she never meant to trivialize their relationship, Ally heads back to the office. Cage is there, contemplating recent events and rejections. The two friends realize that they’ve missed each other and share a dance in the emptiness.
